Hey there! I\u2019m Daniel Grzonka. I\u2019ve got a solid background in Computer Science with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Cracow University of Technology and a Ph.D. from the Polish Academy of Sciences in collaboration with Jagiellonian University\u2014all with distinctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Currently, I\u2019m an Assistant Professor at Cracow University of Technology and also the Vice-Dean for Education at the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications. I\u2019m proud to be a START 2019 laureate, an award given by the Foundation for Polish Science to some seriously impressive young scientists. Plus, I\u2019m part of the Polish Information Processing Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve had the opportunity to work with some cool places like ABB ISDC, CDN-Partner, and universities like AGH University of Science and Technology and Jagiellonian University. My research dives into several fascinating areas of computer science, but I\u2019ll spare you the list\u2014let\u2019s just say it keeps me pretty busy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, you want to know how I got tangled up with WordPress? It\u2019s been a wild ride that started over a decade ago\u2014honestly, it\u2019s a bit of a blur now. What I do remember is that my journey began out of sheer curiosity and a dash of necessity. I\u2019m a total self-taught techie who just dove right in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Back in the day, I started setting up WordPress sites for various research groups, events, organizations, and competitions. It seemed like everyone needed a website, and WordPress was there to make that happen smoothly. I even managed the digital presence for my brother\u2019s business using, you guessed it, WordPress. And of course, how could I resist not using the world\u2019s most popular content management system for my own personal site?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What\u2019s kept me hooked? It\u2019s the simplicity, flexibility, and the amazing community around it. Whether it was for academia, professional events, or just helping out in the family business, WordPress has been my go-to tool for bringing ideas online.
